On August 15, Dylan, BIS BISS CH Namaste Another Roadside Attraction, won the breed under AKC judge Mr. Bradley Jenkins and placed third in the toy group under Mr. Vice. Julie, Copella She's A Treasure, won the puppy class on Saturday. AJ, Copella Another Cause For Applause, was reserve winners dog on Sunday. AJ is owned by Shirley Hall and Copella.

Smokey, CH Copella's Smoking Aces, won best of breed at the Longview KC on August 1. Smokey was presented by his owner, Jeanie Schmidt. Heather, Zelicaon Heather Ascendra, was winners bitch and best of winners. Heather was also presented by Jeanie. I am so proud of Jeanie, Smokey and Heather. Heather is co-owned by Jeanie, Forrest Johnson and Copella. Heather's win was a major. What a great day for Jeanie and her dogs!

Dylan, BIS BISS CH Namaste Another Roadside Attraction, met the requirements for PCA Sire of Distinction on Friday, July 30 when his 13th conformation champion offspring received his title. AKC UKC and INT CH Zelicaon When Sparks Fly RN,"J", bred by Forrest Johnson and owned by Kim Hill received his title in Ohio. J's dam is CH Zelicaon Morning Star.

Twiggles, Namaste Copella Next Top Model, finished her championship at the Medina Kennel Club show in Medina, Ohio on Saturday, July 24 under AKC judge Joan Goldstein. She was winners bitch and best of winners. Twiggles was expertly presented by her co-breeder and co-owner, Lorelei Bayless. Twiggles is sired by BISS CH Copella Rising Attraction and Namaste Queen Bless Runway Model, Peyton & Gisele.

Heather, Zelicaon Heather Ascendra, was winners bitch, best of winners and best of breed in Dallas, Texas on July 10. She was presented by Jeanie Schmidt. She is owned by Jeanie, Forrest Johnson and Copella. Uno, Copella Namaste Lone Star Attraction, was reserve winners dog.

Peyton, BISS CH Copella's Rising Attraction, won the breed on June 20 under AKC judge Joe Gregory. His son, Uno, Copella Namaste Lone Star Attraction, was best bred by exhibitor.

Natalie, Copella National Treasure, was winners bitch, best of winners and best opposite on June 19 under AKC judge Carmen Blankenship. This was Natalie's second major. Natalie is owned by Madge Billings and Copella.

Twiggles, Namaste Copella Next Top Model, was winners bitch, best of winners and best of breed in Missouri on Sunday, June 6, 2010. She then won the toy group, giving her the second major. She needs two single points to complete her championship. She is sired by Peyton, BISS CH Copella's Rising Attraction. Her dam is Gisele, Namaste Queen Bless Runway Model.

Macy, Copella Namaste Texas Attraction, finished her championship at the Seminole Kennel Club show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, under AKC judge Barbara Keenan on May 28. Macy was bred by Copella Papillons and is owned by Elizabeth Wright and Copella Papillons. She is sired by BIS BISS CH Namaste Another Roadside Attraction. Her dam is CH Namaste Ice Ice Baby of Kings Edition.

Twiggles, Namaste Copella Next Top Model was winners bitch, best of winners and best of opposite at the Oklahoma Toy Dog show in Oklahoma City on May 22 under Michael Forte. She was reserve winners bitch on May 23.

We had a wonderful time at the PCA National Specialty. I was very proud of how our dogs presented themselves. Peyton participated in the Top Twenty competition and received a beautiful ribbon. It was the first judged Top Twenty for PCA. The #2 dog for 2009 won the competition. The judge made only one small cut for the best of breed competition. I was very pleased that Peyton made that cut. Dylan won the stud dog competition. His sons Peyton, Roadie and Bear were presented as his get.

Dylan and Ace received their official Papillon Club of America Sire of Merit certificates. Gisele received her dam of merit at the national specialty.

Twiggles was reserve winners bitch on Saturday and Macy was reserve winners bitch on Sunday in Bossier City, Louisiana.

AJ was reserve winners dog at the Northeast Oklahoma Kennel Club show in Grove, Oklahoma. AJ is owned by Shirley Hall and Copella.

AJ, Copella Another Cause For Applause, was winners dog at the Bartlesville Kennel Club show in Grove, Oklahoma on April 15. The judge was Mr. William Bergum. AJ was presented by his owner, Shirley Hall. AJ is co-owned by Copella.

Bear, Zelicaon Honey Bear Amanti, became a new champion at the Fort Worth Kennel Club show on Sunday, March 28, under AKC judge Mr. Jack Ireland. Bear was winners dog, best of winners and best of breed over three specials. Bear was bred by Forrest Johnson. Thank you, Forrest, for allowing Bear to live with us and finish his championship with us. Bear is now owned by Copella and Zelicaon Papillons. Bear is sired by our dog, Dylan.

Natalie, Copella National Treasure, was winners bitch and best opposite over a bitch special at the Fort Worth Kennel Club show on Sunday, March 28, under AKC judge Mr. Jack Ireland. It was a major win. Natalie is owned by Margaret Billings and Copella. She is presented by her owner, Madge. We are so proud of Madge and Natalie. Twiggles, Namaste Copella Next Top Model, was reserve winners bitch.

Bear, Zelicaon Honey Bear Amanti, was winners dog and best of winners at the Faith City KC show in Wichita Falls, Texas on Sunday, March 8. The judge was Ms. Ruth Prehn. Twiggles, Namaste Copella Next Top Model, won the bred by class both days.

Peyton, BISS CH Copella's Rising Attraction, was best of breed at the South Arkansas Kennel Club show in Camden, Arkansas on February 21. The judge was Mrs. Barbara Alderman. Peyton was presented by Lorelei Bayless. AJ, Copella Another Cause For Applause, was reserve winners dog.

We experienced a rare six inches of snow on February 11. When we get the occasional snowfall, it is usually just a dusting. A neighbor took this picture of our home from her house. The dogs have enjoyed playing in the frozen fluff.

Twiggy, Namaste Copella Next Top Model, was winners bitch and best of winners at Jackson, Mississippi on December 11. The judge was Mr. Jim Briley. Twiggy was also best bred by exhibitor. Gunner, Copella Armed and Dangerous, was best of winners on August 30 at the Cotton Land Cluster in Monroe, Louisiana. Trudy, Copella Here Comes Trouble, was reserve winners bitch. Gunner and Trudy were reserve winners dog and bitch on August 29.

Natalie is owned by Margaret Billings. Peyton, BISS CH Copella's Rising Attraction, was best opposite. This was all on Saturday, July 25. On Sunday, Peyton was again best opposite. Trudy, Copella Here Comes Trouble, owned by Ashley Grissom and Shirley Horn, was reserve winners bitch.

Horns Royal USA Attraction finished her championship title in Southaven, MS under AKC judge Thomas Kilcullen on July 11. She was bred and is owned by Shirley Horn. She was sired by our champion, Dylan, BIS BISS CH Namaste Another Roadside Attraction. This made Dylan a Sire of Merit. Trudy, Copella Here Comes Trouble, owned by Ashley Grissom and Shirley Horn, was reserve winners bitch. Trudy is a Dylan daughter. Gunner, Copella Armed and Dangerous was reserve winners dog. Gunner is a Dylan son. On July 12, Gunner was best of winners under AKC judge Mr. Bradley Jenkins.

Gunner was reserve winners dog in Sedalia, Missouri on Sunday, July 5 under AKC judge Dawn Hansen.

Peyton, BISS CH Copella's Rising Attraction, was best of breed at the Kennel Club of Texarkana all breed dog show on June 14 under AKC judge Michele Billings. Harmony was winners bitch for a five point major. Carrie placed second in the bred by class. Trudy won the 9-12 class.

Gunner, Copella Armed and Dangerous, was winners dog and best of winners for a five point major at the Kennel Club of Texarkana all breed dog show on June 13 under AKC judge, Sandra Goose Allen. Peyton was best of opposite. Harmony won her class and Carrie placed second in a very large bred by class.

The Papillon Club of America National Specialty in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, was a wonderful experience. There were over 400 beautiful Papillons entered. Gunner, Copella Armed and Dangerous, placed third in the 9-12 puppy class. Smokey, CH Copella's Smoking Aces, made the first cut in best of breed. Smokey is owned and handled by Jeanie Schmidt. Peyton, BISS CH Copella's Rising Attraction, made the first two cuts in best of breed. Dylan, BIS BISS CH Namaste Another Roadside Attraction, made all three cuts in best of breed.

Puppies sired by our dogs performed well at the specialty. Zelicaon Honey Bear Amanti (Bear), bred and owned by Forrest Johnson, won Best in Sweepstakes and made the cut in the very large bred by class. His sister, Zelicaon Heather Ascendra (Heather), placed fourth in bred by bitches. Windlake Got Me On My Knees (Layla), bred and owned by Jackie Cantwell, placed second in the 6-9 puppy bitch class. Forevr The Real McCoy, bred by Shirley Horn and Ruth Ann Ford and owned by Ruth Ann, placed second in the 12-18 class. Bear, Heather, and Layla were sired by Dylan. McCoy was sired by Ace, CH Meleys Wise Prince of Troy Connection.

Jodi, Horn's Royal USA Crown, finished her championship at the Denton Kennel Club show in Denton, Texas on Sunday, May 10. The judge was Mr. Don Sutton. Jodi is owned and bred by Shirley Horn and sired by our dog, Dylan, BIS BISS Namaste Another Roadside Attraction. Addie, Horns Royal USA Attraction was reserve winners bitch. Addie is a litter sister to Jodi, sired by our Dylan.

Roadie, Solaire Roadside Main Attraction, finished his championship on Saturday, May 9 at the Denton Kennel Club show in Denton, Texas. The judge was Mr. Bradley Jenkins. Roadie is owned and bred by June Aukerman. Addie, Horns Royal USA Attraction was winners bitch. Addie is owned and bred by Shirley Horn. Addie and Roadie are sired by our dog Dylan, BIS BISS Namaste Another Roadside Attraction.

Peyton, BISS CH Copella's Rising Attraction, was best of breed and toy group two at the Tri-State Kennel Club all breed dog show in Grove, Oklahoma, under judge, Terri Lydon on April 25, 2009. Thank you to Brian Leonard for presenting Peyton at this show.

Carrie, Copella Namaste Keeping Texas Pretty, was best opposite in the Sweepstakes, judged by Ms. Sherry Anderson. Dylan, BIS BISS CH Namaste Another Roadside Attraction, received an award of merit and best stud dog. Dylan is the sire of both Peyton and Carrie.

Peyton and Smokey, CH Copella's Smoking Aces, received awards of merit at the second Tulsa Pap Specialty on March 28. The judge was Ms. Margo Klinger. Gunner, Copella Armed and Dangerous, was reserve winners dog.

Peyton, CH Copella's Rising Attraction, was Best of Opposite Sex at the Fort Worth Kennel Club all breed dog show under Mr. Houston Clark on March 22. Roadie, Solaire Roadside Main Attraction, sired by our Dylan, BIS BISS CH Namaste Another Roadside Attraction, was winners dog and best of winners for a five point major. Roadie is owned by June Aukerman.

Harmony, Zelicaon Music To My Ears Copella Namaste, was winners bitch and best of winners for a four point major at the Fort Worth Kennel Club all breed dog show under Dr. John Shelton on March 21. Her sire, Dylan, BIS BISS CH Namaste Another Roadside Attraction, was Best of Opposite Sex under Dr. Shelton.

Copella Papillons welcomes Troy. Troy comes to us from Prana Papillons and is sired by our dog, Ace, CH Meleys Wise Prince of Troy Connection. Thank you Mary Kendall Maginnis for sharing Troy with us. Troy will make his debut in May, 2009, with his co-owner, Jeanie Schmidt.

New Litter: Treasure and Dylan are the proud parents of three baby girls born on January 10 at 3:00 a.m. All are doing well.

2009 started off "Smokin." Smokey, CH Copella's Smoking Aces, won best of breed at the Nolan River Kennel Club show. Smokey won the breed over five specials, two of which were ranked in the top three for 2008. A big congratulations to Smokey and his owner/handler, Jeanie Schmidt.
