Dylan won best of breed at the Northwest Arkansas Kennel Club all breed dog show in Fayetteville, Arkansas on December 8 & 9. The judges were Mrs. Clover Allen (Papillon breeder judge) and Mr. Fred Bassett. Cindy, Copella's Beauty Mark, was winners bitch and best of opposite on Saturday. On Sunday she was winners bitch, best of winners and best of opposite. Mackenzie was reserve winners bitch on Saturday. Smokey, owned by Jeanie Schmidt, was winners dog and best of winners on Saturday. George, Copella's Perfect Storm, made his debut with his new onwer, Meredith Gale. George was reserve winners dog on Sunday. It was a great weekend.

Dylan won the first Award of Excellence at the AKC Eukanuba National Championship in Long Beach, California on December 1. The judge was Mrs. Charlotte Patterson. Dylan also won best bred by exhibitor and made the cut in the bred by group. The group competition may be viewed online at www.akc.org. Dylan was handled by Lorelei Bayless.

Mackenzie won her class both days. Smokey, owned by Jeanie Schmidt, won his class both days and was reserve winners dog on Sunday.

Dylan won best in show at the Papillon Club of Tulsa specialty in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 1. Mackenzie was winners bitch and best of winners for a five point major. Treasure, Copella's Hidden Treasure, is a new champion. Treasure finished her championship at the Fort Smith Kennel Club all breed dog show under judge Eugene Blake on October 6. She was winners bitch and best of opposite. Treasure received all of her championship points from the bred by class. She finished her title at nine months of age, beating her father's record of 10 months. Treasure competed in the best of breed competition on October 7 and received best of opposite.

Dylan won best of breed at the Fort Steuben Kennel Association all breed dog show in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania on October 6. The judge was Mr. George Heitzman. He then placed third in the toy group under Mr. Donald Duncan. Dylan was handled by Lorelei Bayless.

Paris gave birth to three beautiful puppies on July 1, one boy and two girls. Dylan is the proud father. The two girls are classic tris and the boy is white and black.

Ace, Champion Meleys Wise Prince of Troy Connection, won best of breed at the Arkansas Kennel Club all breed dog show in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 23. The judge was Mrs. Beverly Lehnig. Ace then went on to place second in the toy group under Mrs. Lehnig. This was Ace's second show in over a year. It was a nice way to come back to the show ring. Ace is co-owned with Shirley Horn.
Cindy and Treasure placed second in their classes and Mackenzie won her American bred class under Mrs. Lehnig.
On June 24, Cindy placed second in the puppy class. Treasure and Mackenzie won their classes. Treasure was reserve winners bitch. The judge was Mr. Thomas Baldwin.

Cindy, Copella's Beauty Mark, placed second and first in the puppy class. Mackenzie, Namaste Ice Ice Baby of Kings Edition placed first in the American bred class each day. Smokey, Copella's Smoking Aces, placed second and first in the puppy class. Smokey is owned by Jeanie Schmidt. We were very proud of how all of our puppies showed at their very first show.

Happy Birthday Dylan. To celebrate Dylan's second birthday he won best of breed and the toy group at the West Texas Kennel Club all breed dog show in Midland, Texas on April 7 & 8. On Saturday Dylan won breed and group under judge Murrel Purkhiser. On Sunday, Dylan's birthday, he won breed under Mrs. Robert Smith and group under Dr. Robert Smith. It is great to have Dylan home again after a long show circuit with his other mommy and daddy, Lorelei and Dan.

Dylan won back to back best of breed at the Abilene Kennel Club show in Abilene, Texas on January 27 & 28. The judges were Mrs. Barbara Dempsey Alderman and Dr. Sam Burke. Dylan won a toy group three on Sunday, January 28 under Mrs. Alderman.

Dylan won best of breed on Saturday, January 20, at the Greenville Kennel Club show in Greenville, Mississippi. The judge was Dr. Robert Berndt. Rosie won her class on Sunday under judge, Charlotte Patterson.

Dylan won best of breed at the Greater Collin Kennel Club show on Friday, January 12, 2007, under judge, Mr. David Krogh. He again won best of breed at the Texas Kennel Club show on Saturday, January 13 under judge, Mr. Fred Bassett. Both shows were held in Dallas, Texas. Dylan was handled by his breeder, Dan Bayless, on Friday.

Dylan won best of breed on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Nolan River Kennel Club show in Glenrose, Texas. The judge was Mr. Paul Thomann. Dylan went on to win a toy group two. The judge was Mrs. Carolyn Herbel. This was Dylan's first show for 2007. It was a nice way to start the new year. Dylan was handled by his breeder and co-owner, Lorelei Bayless.

The 2006 final results have been tabulated by AKC. Dylan finished as the #10 Papillon in the All Breed System and #14 Papillon in the Breed System. He was specialed on a limited basis in June, July and August 2006. He was a full time special during the months of September and October and on a limited basis in November and December. We are pleased with what he has accomplished in such a short time and at such a young age. Thank you Dan and Lorelei Bayless for entrusting us with Dylan. He is a wonderful dog and brings much joy to our lives.

Dylan's wins for 2006 include one best in show, three toy group wins, two toy group three placements, and one toy group four placement. Dylan won 22 best of breeds.
